Inspired By Nature Day Four

I really admire those of you who post outfits everyday! It's been really challenging for me to take photos every morning. My husband has been a very good sport though. :D

Here is my entry for day four. I was inspired by the colors in the photograph and also the soft misty quality of the river and trees. These are the shorts I bought at the YLF meet-up last week and you've seen the sweater before. You can't see them in the photo, but my earrings are little silver fish (I bought them in high school). :)

Thank you for looking!

Sweater: Cynthia Rowley
Shorts: Madewell
Shoes: Me Too

I'm in love with that sweater Ana - it's so "dreamy" looking!

That sweater is a keeper! Simple, cool-looking outfit.

Love! This outfit has a cheeky 1920's vibe to it, Ana.

THIS is how to stay cool and look divine in sweltering weather if you can go really short on your hemline.

You are so cute! And ready to go hang by that river. Great shoes.

You look so cool and watery. I can imagine that the fish earrings are the perfect finishing touch!

You are cute as a button! Great shorts too; were those from the vintage popup?

So cute, and such pretty soft colors! I have been taking notes on how to dress for the heat (we don't have much but I sure do melt when it comes), you always look so comfy and breezy!

Gorgeous! I am also taking notes on your summer dressing Ana. The hot weather is about to commence here too.

Those shorts almost look like mini-culottes from Angie's post! You look great!

Thank you so much you guys! :D My husband teases me and calls these my "pajama shorts." I love them! They have a very high waist, so I think they will be perfect for tucking shirts into. They are very light and breezy.

Angie, thank you for the compliment! Wow, that means so much! It's so hard to stay stylish when it's hot outside. I also love 20s style!

Isis, these shorts are actually from Madewell. I got a skirt from the pop-up vintage store. I think I will have to debut it next week given the forecast. :)

Yay, I'm so glad I am giving people some good ideas for hot weather dressing. : )

    Thanks again!
