Soft Colors (For a Change)

Hi Everyone!

When Angie wrote about open knit sweaters recently, I realized I had one in my closet that was waiting to be worn. So I built an outfit around it and this is what I came up with. I have a couple more ideas ideas for it that I want to try while the temperature is still below 90. I'm also making an effort to wear my light pink skinny jeans as much as possible before I have to put them away until November. The necklace is one I bought last year for a friend's wedding and haven't worn much since. I guess I'm digging deep in my closet right now. I wore this outfit to a meeting last Tuesday and got a lot of compliments on my shoes, which was really sweet. : )

    OMG, this is a fabulous outfit Ana! I love your hair all gamine and piece-y too. Those red pumps are TDF and the open weave sweater looks cool and glamorous with the skinnies. Love the bag and necklace too. This is the perfect time of year to be wearing light pants and sweaters that require a cami. You are doing such a good job of prolonging your spring season. I'm attempting to do the same. :)

    This is absolutely stunning Ana! I love the softness of the outfit and that necklace is beautiful with the sweater. Then you have that delicious pop of colour on your feet just to spice it up a bit. Yep...lovin' this look!

    White and silver are so, so pretty together. The shine of the sweater and necklace make this feel dressy - but yet, the jeans take it down a notch. You are inspiring me to break out my silver ballet flats to wear with my white jeans. Thank you for the spark!

    Thank you so much for the comments and encouragement, everyone! You all are great! And thanks for noticing the haircut, too. I chopped it in anticipation of the hot weather. I was just thinking that it's getting too long! It's grown out a little bit now and I think I like the top a little longer. It's starting to curl and that's good because it will get curly when it gets more hot and humid. The back definitely needs a trim. Luckily I'm headed into the hairstylist's on Thursday. :D
